Amy Martin, a journalist and writer of over 20 years experience, is researching and experiencing North American goddesses as part of her next book project. A well-known Dallas leader in Earth-centered spirituality‚ she presents seasonal events, including the acclaimed Winter Solsticelebration, and operates a holistic/spiritual email list serve for the Dallas area called Moonlady News.

She and her husband‚ artist and computer animator Scooter Smith‚ share their wooded East Dallas home with several cats‚ two dogs and a variety of wildlife.They are developing a rural contemplative nature preserve northeast of Dallas.
