Dawn Work-MaKinne is a 2001 graduate of the Women's Thealogical Institute, walking the Scholar/Teacher path. She is currently pursuing Ph.D. work in Feminist Studies in Religion at The Union Institute and University.

Professionally, Dawn works as a librarian and system administrator for the Public Library of Des Moines. She is a proud member of the Sisters of the Goddess, Des Moines, Iowa.
