Dolores DeLuise holds a Ph.D. and a certificate in Women’s Studies from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. She is an assistant professor at Borough of Manhattan Community College/CUNY, teaching writing and literature. Her main fields of research and publication are pedagogy, women’s literature, and cultural studies/women’s spirituality.

She has recently published on the goddess Tanit and will be spending the summer in Sicily completing research and fieldwork for an upcoming book on goddess spirituality and the Christian saints in Sicily.
