Kathy Stanley is a writer who was born in Jamaica and left the island in her late teens for Canada.

She recently moved to Oregon where she loves to explore the wild coast and forests of the Pacific Northwest. She is passionate about nature, animals, wildlife, pilgrimage and eco-travel.

A student at Marylhurst University, she is completing a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Creative Writing and Ecology.
