Patricia is the daughter of a decorated Korean War veteran and is a longtime member of the Society of Friends (Quakers), one of the traditional "peace churches." She is the author of many books on the goddess, including the recently released The Red-Haired Girl on the Bog, about the goddess in the Irish landscape. She continues her campaign to green her life despite occasional bouts of media-induced depression. She teaches literature and environment at DePaul University and is Senior Fellow at the Black Earth Institute (www.blackearthinstitute.org), devoted to reconnecting arts, spirituality and progressive thought.
