Flight 29 January 2005.
My first flying experience brought a new perspective and renewed inspiration of Mother Earth, her clouds a magical cloak in which I felt calm and peace. I drifted into meditation easily, shapeshifting into a bird riding the thermals, lazily looking at Her landscape, taking in every detail of Her topography, seeing Her life as if viewing through a microscope. What appears large and strong to us on land now seems fragile and delicate from the air. Photos © 2005 Gwyn Padden. All rights reserved. Do not cut and take. |
